Our Many Programs
This page is dedicated to even more programs that we run, but we didn't want to list too many at once. So without further ado, please check out six more of the programs that YYC Campus Ministry puts together for the young adults of Calgary.
A meditative and creative tool, the labyrinth is hosted each semester during exams at the University of Calgary. It is designed to provide students with a quiet place to focus their mind, relax, and rejuvenate. The labyrinth is a haven away from the worries and stresses of school.
Designed as a safe space for all women, this circle is hosted alongside other chaplains at the University of Calgary each week. The women gather, have tea, and discuss a wide range of topics in an environment conducive to creating connections. This is open to any women at UCalgary.
YYC Campus Ministry's drum training program. Those who are a part of our drum troupe are being trained to help us facilitate drum circles, to perform at events, and are learning special polyrhythms. Interested in learning more about hand drumming and being part of this group? Contact us!
Our friends at the Lutheran Campus Ministry YYC help host a yearly winter retreat at Camp Kuriakos with campus ministries from across Western Canada. Together, YYC Campus Ministry and Lutheran Campus Ministry bring young adults from our combined communities to this amazing experience where young adults hear from an international speaker, participate in fun winter games, and meet people from all over.
